1Install Blackberry Desktop Manager Softwarewhich included in your Blackberry Installation CD. If you don’t haveone, you may download software from Here
2Make sure you set an Outlook profile that the Desktop Manager can use.3Start the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.4Connect your Blackberry with your computer via USB cable and allow Blackberry device driver install.5Click on Synchronize in BlackBerry Desktop Manager.6Activate the Synchronize organizer data checkbox: BlackBerry Synchronize.7Click on the Configuration tab. Then, click on the Configure synch: BlackBerry Synchronize Configuration.8Check the data you want your BlackBerry being synchronized to. Choose CONTACTS, TASKS, CALENDAR, and NOTES databases.9Afteryou check each item, the software will ask which application you wouldlike to sync it with, you will choose OUTLOOK for all.10Nowgo back to the Desktop Manager. Make sure that the SYCHRONIZE ORGANIZERDATA check box is checked. And select the Synchronize now button at thesynchronize dialog to begin synchronization.

You might not have "attachment service" installed. Fire up Desktop Manager and reinstall it.

if it is not selecting then use the destop manager on your pc/laptop to do so....or take the phone into a repair center and have it looked at

Try removing the password before attempting to sync to your computer.
On the pressing the keys and getting only numbers sounds like the numbers shift is locked.
simply press the alt on the bottom left of your keyboard.
the use of numbers only or sometimes caps only will be indicated on your screen. observe the symbols along the top and the bottom .
type something as if you were going to send a text message to text that the keyboard is set to normal and lower caps.

IN MENU--> SELECT BLACKBERRY LOGO BUTTON--> SELECT SHOW ALL.
1.To hide a Home screen icon, complete the following steps: Select an icon on the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone. Press the Menu key.
Click Hide Icon.

2.To show a hidden icon on the Home screen, complete the following steps:
Select an icon on the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone.
Press the Menu key. Click Show All.
3.After the Show All option has been selected, to show a hidden icon, complete the following steps:
Select the transparent icon on the Home screen that you want to make visible.
Press the Menu key.Cancel the Hide Icon selection.
4.If not able to find Install Blackberry desktop Manager ...Take Backup.. reinstall the application from application loader in Blackberry Desktop Manager

Keep getting error code 0x80043ac9 when sync'ing my BB Curve 8330. Won't let me finish sync'ing address book. Stops at 2906 of 3814 contacts. Calendar won't update either. Worked fine until 8/10/10. Back up works fine.
