I reside in the U.K. and have purchased a used projector model No Sony VPL-VW10HT from America there was no instructions supplied therefore I am at a loss when setting up my projector, the S vidio connection I used shows a poor picture but no sound therefore I used a S-Video cable connector then I tried the Red - Yellow - White jacks no sound or picture on position A and on position B still no joy, then I placed the Yellow jack which is the video outlet I put in this connection next to the S- video inlet, I have a clear beautiful picture but no sound, where do I insert the white and or red jack plugs on the projector to obtain sound. Can any one explain the full meanings of the following inlet Jack sockets Colour Green, Blue, Red, White and Black,
Marked A & B settings are the followind colour connections.
Green inlet, has the marking G/Y (what is this). Blue inlet is marked B/Ca/Pa (what does this mean). RED is marked R/Cr/Pr (please explain) White SYNC/HD and last of all Black which is marked VD.
How do i obtain both sound and picture using ie vidio or game systems with our UK Red White and Yellow lead connectors, many many thanks for helping Terry
The projector will not make sound you have to have the audio jacks go to a separate receiver my email [email protected]
Thank you for your help I visited a Sony retail outlet yesterday and they explained that to obtain sound you have to go through a sound system using the red connection because they is no sound / speakers build into the projector.
