The lexmark z25 printer does not require any drivers to run on windows 7, they are available automatically as part of the operating system.

All you need to do is plug it in and it will install the required software!

Go to lexmark website click on the downloads type the model number of the printer into the search bar you will get the link for the download . Download the driver from net and install it

This is a link to Lexmark for your X5470 drivers....please select from the drop down lists at the bottom of page whether you are using Mac platform or Windows platform. Then choose which operating system within to download appropriate driver.

You will need the printer disk to install the printer.

If you do not have the disk you must download the software from Internet, follow instructions below,

A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
Afterdownloading,findthe file,doubleclick on the file, if you get introubles ,thenfollowinstructions below to reset and reinstall:

• Unplug printer USB.
• Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
• Download driver from website and run the file.
  
• Follow driver installation wizard.
• Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

Note:some printer does not work on Vista

This is the lexmart x1250 driver for download from internet.. so you don hav eto have the CD when there is internet!!!! :)

Unfortunately, the Z25 isn't supported by Vista.

Use the Vista pre-installed Lexmark Z22-32 ColorJet printer driver. If that does not work, use the Lexmark Z12 ColorJet printer driver, listed below the previous driver.
