Going to the problem of my washing machine not spinning out it also goes off balance now which it never did , could there be some thing in the balance as well as this small clip was found under machin

The machine spins out some times and not others but it also goes off balance a lot now which it never did . When I lifted the lid and watched it it did its job . All rods holding bowl are in place and belt looks Ok . When machine is switched on it makes a grating sound but goes away when water is added. Sounds as though rubber is dry. No noise from any bearings when running.

SOURCE: Washing machine not spinning

The pin is a shipping pin and serves no purpose after the machine is set up. These machines comes with a plastic strap through the back panel to hold components in place for shipping. There are plastic cups that the pins fall into after the strap is pulled.
Ignore the pin.
Your no spin problem is a stripped out direct drive coupling between the motor and transmission.
It is a easy fix.
Use the attached video as reference to change out the part.

SOURCE: Kenmore 110 Washing Machine -

These machines are good washers. If you rearrange the load and that does not help, the washer not be level. This washer if it is the one I think it is, it does have a belt very seldom do the clutches go out unless you you maybe do50 loads a day. my guess is that it is not level and you will need a short level and place it on the front edge of the washer and see side to side then on the right or left side front to back . Most of these are equipped with self levelers. Put your foot in front of the washer at the base pull forward on back to lift the rear feet off the floor about 2 inches and set it carefully back down then check both ways again until it shows level, you may have to repeat this once or twice. If it still shows not level you my have to turn the front feet in or out until level. Remember use a combination tilting to the front and adjusting the front ones.

What will cause my Whirlpool washing machine to set on low speed spin cycle?

The machine uses automatic load sensors to balance the load and when you put something in the machine that is big, like a comforter, it knows that it cannot balance that item. So with a front loader it wont spin at high speed because it would be off balance and either damage the machine or the machine would "walk" because of the off balance motion.

Going out of balance

could be the springs are wearing out. some haier models I have seen start the spin at full motor speed, which could be part of the problem.

When water drains and machine goes into spin cycle it starts to make a loud clonking noise. It sounds as if the drum is going to fly out of the machine.

I've experienced this on occasion. stop the washer, redistribute the clothes, etc. so it is evenly balanced. The "rocking" occurs when the balance is uneven.

Washing machine off balance in one cycle

Make sure washer is on a level surface and all four feet adjusted properly. A slight forward lean may help with this problem as the out of balance switch is at the rear.

Washer constantly goes out of balance

1 option is to wind the back feet out so the washer drum will sit more to the front so as it less likly to hit the OOB switch, other thing is that the OOB switch might have corrosion on the inside of it and in this case if it gets moisture inside it during a wash it is more likely to go OOB, so try replacing it this should fix issue, if not replace Motor Control Unit. :)

Not going into high spin with any weight in it

I have had the same problem with my front loader. The rug is too heavy and the drum isn't balanced. Try adding more items to the wash and it will spin.
