HP Deskjet F380 All in One Printer won't cut on

I was about to print some documents when my printer pulled too much paper in and jammed up and shut off. I cleared the jam and removed all the paper but now I can't get my printer to come back on. How can I fix it? Please Help!!

At the end of a print job, the printer took in too many pieces of paper, printed a little on the top of each sheet and has not printed since. There is no paper jam. The printer will pull the sheet in part way, begin to print and then pull the paper in the rest of the way and print maybe 1/3 of the document on the paper. Plus, you can hear the printer struggling. The difference in sound is a sure sign something is amiss. I changed print cartridges within 3 days and printed about 2 documents before this happened. Desperately need help!

Paper jamming problems with HP DeskJet F380 All-In-One Printer . The paper feeds into the paper feeder but then it seems to get off line and the paper get stuck and actually tears in the feeder. The...

Hi,
Remove the jammed paper. Unplug the printer from the mains and PC. Inspect the rollers, etc for tiny paper piece(s) that may be stuck, or other debris. Try to clean rollers and make sure they are dry.
Keep printer unplugged for about 2 minutes and replug and try a test print.
Also make sure that you have waited long enough for the printer to heat up before giving a print job.
Finally, it could be an issue with the paper sensor. If this is the case, you will probably have to take the printer in for servicing..

Hope that helps!

Thanks

If you have documents in the queue I suggest you cancel all documents, turn printer off and then on again. If printer goes to ready then all is ok so try printing again.

HP deskjet F380 - 'status: paper jam'. There is no paper jam!

Unplug the power cord and while doing that make sure printer is powered on i mean do not turn off the printer using the power button. When you unplug the power cord than press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Than release the power button and connect the power cord and then try to print.

What sort of document are you trying to print (Word document, Excel spreadsheet, something else)? Also, what kind of paper are you using? Certain types of paper can stop progressing through the printer for a variety of reasons, regardless of the document type.

Thanks.
