Hi and welcome to FixYa. I am Kelly.
I have a few things to recommend that you check.
1. Is the motor even running when it is in the drain cycle? Yes / No
2. Check the air gap assy for obstructions
a. Check the air gap (if installed)
1) Remove the cover (pull up and off)
2) Remove the upper nut (unscrews from the inside of the top)
3) Note the position of the diverter when you remove it.
4) Check for debris just under the diverter (clean as necessary)
5) If you suspect that the 2 hoses that connect to the air gap are obstructed remove them and clean the ports. (Reinstall hoses)
----Reassemble air gap
3. Remove the drain hose from the sink connection.
a. Clear any obstructions
1) most of the time the connection is into the throat of the garbage disposal and this connection port is what clogs from the garbage disposal food particulate build up in the ported hole.
---Reinstall hose.
4. Test drain cycle. (Pass / fail?)
5. If it fails:
A> Remove the drian hose from the motor pump assy
1) Clear any obstructions
---Reinstall hose
B> No obstructions...
1) You will need to remove the lower wash / spray arm and the arm tower in the bottom of the dishwasher and check for debris, a broken impeller housing or impeller.
--Reinstall the wash arm tower and spray arm.
Test drain cycle.
