Can not showing images calirity

Dear

  • Anonymous May 11, 2010

Umm if I understand your probably you can't see things clearly on your labtop. If it's what i think it is. Then you need to install video card drivers. Without drivers windows will run in a very basic mode and it's very low end. Depending on the video card. Colors could be very low. Like 16 colors.. and that's not very relistic at all. Also things won't be sharp. And video will play be very jerky type. Public Library computers usually have this.

You can try to change the resolution settings in control panel>apperance and personalization> adjust screen resolution(VISTA) or control panel>display(or personalization)settings. Try setting the slider as far to the right for the resolution that you can, the screen will flicker and give you the option to keep the settings or change back and a count down timer, if you do nothing (I.E. the screen is completely black) it will automatically (after about 15-30sec) go back to the previous setting.

After you find a setting that seems to work, check the advanced settings, in the refresh rate it should be the highest possible setting (I.E. 60hz) this will stop or prevent any screen flickering. I hope this helps.

Caliberation

Normally it is a matter of a few seconds, doing the calibration clicking a round or two - but if the phone is faulty it is not possible to calibrate, and the process will go on for ever. In that case try to get the phone replaced by the seller (if you just bought it)

Ricoh aficio 250 I justcleared a ppapaer jam in area D now the LED stills shows paper jam and machinewill not reset. I have looked good and I can not find any paper. Could I have hit a senosr or switch...

This is an older machine and I don't remember where "D" is.
Ricoh uses Optical sensors in most of their equipment so you will be lookind for what looks like 2 LEDs close together in the paper path or a actuator of some sort in the paper path that goes back to a black U shaped device (another type of optical sensor). Start in the area that you found the paper and work your way back to the tray. Since it is optical, even dust or a tiny piece of paper can cause a jam light to stay on.
