Hi,

Yes you can get a copy of the user manual for these little critters, I'll give you details below, but a warning for potential users in Australia.

These units utilise the frequency range 462MHz-646MHz, which is the licence free part of the spectrum in USA, not Australia.

ACMA, the body responsible for spectrum licensing in AUS, doesn't have any spectrum allocation for FRS(Family Radio Service) / GMRS(General Mobile Radio Service), so you are not legally allowed to use these radios in AUS.

The said frequencies that these little buggers work on (462-464MHZ) is allocatted to Commercial and government licensed users in Australia and the fact that these units can pump out up to 25watts, means you are transmitting on a frequency in Australia for which you are not licensed to.

Be aware that if you are caught out operating these units in Australia and/or it's territories, islands etc,. you will be fined heavily and/or imprisoned, neither of those options is worth the effort.

A 5 watt CB with 80 channels (NEW) from $125.00 on ebay, is a much better, safer and best of all, license free option.

now for your manual: join yahoo group that is specific to this radio and model, there you will be able to get lots of info and freely download a copy of the user manual, but this will be a USA group as no AUS group is established for the reasons I've stated, with warnings.

Cheers,
Peter

Hi Liam,

I'd love to help you, but alas, you've not given me any details regarding the problem with your radios.

Please reply with as much info regarding what you require and I'm sure to find a solution to the query.

Just posting the Make & Model with no problem, doesn't help me to help you.

Cheers,
Peter
