Tv doesnt come on after replacing verticaloutput ic

hello. 1/ did you go into service menu and mess with any settings before you changed the ic, if so this will cause the tv not to switch on 2/ did you test the resistors in front of the ic and the capacitors at either end. also there may be some protection fuses on the board that may have shorted i'll see if i can get service manual for you try get this tv back up and running thanks

It not the bulb,it still good.Ur tv have a problems known as convergence,"have colors shadows,colors misalinement,picture look like 3D" it dead.This convergence problems it happen to all DLP TVS sooner or later. The tv convergence board the 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all it resistors are dead.These parts in the convergence board must be change to fix this.The shop will cost u $300-350 for parts and labors.

Not the lamp if u have good picture.Ur 2 convergence ICS and all the resistors is dead.Colors misaligns,have shadow or 3D colors. Must replaced 2 ICS and all it resistors in the US shop will cost U $300 parts and labors.Canadian don't know.

[1] Repaer tv sound section replace sound ic and canacting spaer
[2] Use extra amplifer or home theater system{AUX mode} canact with tv. A/Voutput pin .
[3] if you are use setup box or chenal convater then canact A/v Out{ L -R ] to AUX input . home theater or extra Amplifer system

Good day sir, its a different issue, about the capacitor, for as long as your replacement part is correct, it will work, now, there are several things you should check, the I/O device that controls the inputs of the TV, usually an IC, check your schematic diagram to trace the fault. check also the line from the input 3 to the controller IC on your diagram. Measure the voltage across the IC Vcc to ground if the IC is getting the right power, Low voltage can be cause by faulty capacitors, on the power supply line, or the IC itself is faulty, Circuit analysis and voltage measurements are needed to trace the faulty part. hope this helps thanks.

It sounds like you have bad solder connections in the Vertical circuit or the horizontal circuit. The Vertical IC may need to be replaced if resoldering does not help.
You will need to call a good TV Tech for this repair.

Check the vertical section .. You will find few Electrolytick capacitor..replace all with new one or replace the filter capacitor at vertical IC supply..

changing the eeprom ic should solve your problem.

There are a number of different STK type parts. You need to look on the old ones for the part numbers. May have to dissassemble the heatsink to see the number. STK is pretty good about its numbers and you should have no trouble finding them.
