Tv's green light comes on then off three times

Your TV has convergence chips that need to be replaced by a tech. These keep tour red green and blue lights in sync with one another in order to give you a sharp color picture. When they fail your colors seperate.

The tv is have a problems call convergence,it dead.U have all the tools like soldering iron,solder and desoldering pump.Know basic soldering?The convergence fuses FL231 three of them on the right side of FBT,a big block of plastic of a flyback transformer.Resoder the FBT,replaced the convergence fuse FL231 in the middle.The Ebay.com sell the convergence fuse.

There are three small rectangles sqaure boxes cap fuses parts(FL231) the one in the middle is dead.Replaced the one in the middle located right side near of the big black block of plastic call FBT.U know how to do soldering and have the equipments?Try website like Ebay.com to the cap fuse part(FL231) fuse.After the cap fuse(FL231) is replaced the Convergence well return,ur tv back to normal.

62" mitsuabishi WD62525 had it over 5yrs now, we have been changed lamps three times,(geee lots money!!!)it worked ontill now...
two weeks ago blinking red lamp light was on , i thought lights out again so soon, i order new lamp, i cant turn on TV but blinking green timer light, TV is not working, try reset botton, turn off TV few days.

On same Board that you replaced fuse Look at cp 150 if it is puffed up on top it is bad so replace cp150,114,120 one will be 2200u 16v
other 2 caps will be 220uf 35v With tv turned OFF Press and Hold Vol- and CH - at same Time on Front Panel board wait untill set comes on you should now be in Service mode Go to Convergence Try to aline convergence Do Auto converge

With TV OFF Press and hold vol- and ch- at same time untill tv comes back on release you should now be in Service Menu.

the fl231 problem is unique to the rca itc222 chasis the model mm52100 is not this chasis. wackey? describe the picture. You may have a solder problem or a compnent overheating.

ok, the problem with short detect....
unsolder all convergance ic's and try to turn it on.
does it come on?
if no, check all diods in the power suppy area.
check h-output
unsolder all convergance ic's and try to turn it on.
does it come on?
also might have a vertical ic.
mmm, check all fuses including the solder in pico fuses.
beleave they are sold green color.
when i get one that comes in they have 1 or 2 blowed pico fuses and that means convergance ics need replaced along with fuses.

Instead of taking the board out, I just soldered two wires to the old fl231 fuse on the underside. Installed a fuse holder with a half amp fuse. And I re-soldered all of the flyback points. My tv is working like new. thanks for everyone's help.
