Resetting my MP3 player

It's a SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player, It froze. I was looking for a reset button because most MP3 players have one but all I saw was the mic. Anyone know was it wrong or how to reset it?

Try to do a reset, follow these instructions if this does not work. Reseat the battery.

Resetting a Sansa View, Fuze, or Clip player: 1. Slide and hold the Power switch up for approximately 20 seconds. 2. Release the Power switch. 3. To turn the player on, slide the Power switch up then release instantly.

Says goodbye on screen and seems like it froze up.

Find the reset button ( Probably on the back of the unit ) and press that to reset it. If it froze up, then resetting it should work to fix the problem.

My new sansa mp3 player does is not responsive to commands

If there is a reset button somewhere, push that! Typically, the reset button is very small, and you have to push it with a needle or pen.

Even after resetting my e250, i still get the sandisk screen and it wont go to my menus after i restart it!

I Think You Should Try Starting Your Sansa In Recovey Mode ( Put The Sansa On Hold, Hold Down The Record Button While Turning The Sansa On) Then Plug It In To Your PC  Than Update Your Firmwire
