I'd unplug/disconnect the Roku and after 30 seconds try the control button on the back. If you can change the input do so, then plug the Roku back in. Until you use the input button on the back to change input to Roku, you should be able to use the other buttons on the back to control the TV. If this does not work, unplug both the TV and the Roku. Wait maybe a minute, then plug the TV back in and follow the above instructions. resetting to factory defaults via the internet menu.

Do all the above one after the other before using the WDTV.
Sometimes this helps particularity after a firmware update.

Changing the TV's Input Normally, your TV displays the signal coming through the antenna terminal. However, if you've connected another component to your TV(such as a VCR & DVD) using the Video/Audio input,you will want to be able to view the signal from the component.To do this, you will need to switch from the ' TV ' input to the 'AV1-AV3, CVI' Input, as follows. 1 With the TV on, press the MENU button twice, then " Set-Up " menu will appear. 2 Use the WCHV buttons to select " Input ". 3 Press the CVOLB buttons to change the input source from ' TV ' to 'AV1, AV2, AV3, CVI'. 4 Wait 20 seconds, or press DISPLAY button or MENU button to return to normal TV viewing. * CVI means the Component Video Input (Y/ PB/ PR) from the DVD player etc.* Users can also select these input modes with the TV/AV button or the INPUT button on theremote controller. * On the AV1 mode , if you connect the S-VHS jack to your TV, "AV1" is changed to "S-VIDEO".

Kindly check first if the batteries of your TV remote ( medium to change input ) are fresh. After that please check again the button on your TV remote for INPUT, SOURCE, or TV/VIDEO and it should give you input lists.

Turn on the TV again. You need to change the input from RGB back to cable or HDMI or Component or whatever input you have a source for. If you don't know which one, look at the back of the TV and the wires you've got plugged into it.
If it's 1 round coaxial cable, change the input to Cable.
If it's three wires (red, white, and yellow) change the input to A/V.
If it's 5 multicolored wires, change the input to Component.
If it's an HDMI cable, change input to HDMI.
If you cannot change the input before the TV turns itself off, try unplugging the TV from the wall socket for about 10 seconds, and then plugging it back in. If its still on RGB, you're going to have to either find a way to get faster at switching inputs, or find an RGB cable and something to connect it to your TV. This is a last resort however.

I would suggest you try to find a universal remote that has an "input" or "source" button and program that one to your tv. By pressing the "source" or "input" button, it will change the input to the tv. I hope this helps! -Der Strom

To change inputs on the TV, 90% of the time, it is done on the TV's remote control. Look for a marked button; 'video' or input. Press button to desired input. Other TV's have device/input buttons and will display on the TV's screen, scroll up or down, using the arrow buttons, once on desired input press the 'enter button.

Check if the remote is in TV position, that is, because most of the remote controllers have the feature that you can program them for use with another devices. Make shure that one button that says "TV" in pressed and released once before you try to change any function on the TV.
