you might not have any memory left on your iPod. I have to same problem with mine some times I have to go and delete some stuff and then I starts to work again. so try deleting some stuff like pictures you don't like or some music you don't listen to anymore
Hi, while your pure express plus you just purchased is not playing out any sound is because, the speaker that enable you to play the sound when you play music through the ipod is faulty and it needs to be replaced with another one for it to function properly again.
After changing the speaker that is faulty with a new speaker, you can now start enjoying the music again through the internal speaker.
If an external speaker doesn't run on the same frequency or level or electric current, the Ipod can't put out enough energy to push it through the speaker. It's like trying to mate a Chihuahua with a Labrador, it just doesn't work.
Try the button combination : menu button and center button together for
5 sec. That will hard reset your iPod (make sure it's not on hold when you do that.) If that doesn't work, Take it to the
Apple store first. Only if you're not under warranty, you
should try a firmware restore using iTunes. If that doesn't help it's a
hardware issue
with your logic board. The logic board can be replaced by a tech savy
user and the part is
available on common auction websites. There are ipod nano 4G Repair guides that show you how to do the replacement step by step.
