How do I find and run the Printer Assistant for my Deskjet 3320 printer. I can not find an icon or the program anywhere on my system.execute

Try to do this but please make sure that you are using a Windows OS or Mac OS.

Since you do not have the installation disc of your printer, you can download the Full Feature Installation software from the HP's website, that's www.hp.com. On the upper right hand of the page, please look for the search field and type in the Product number or the model of your printer, click on the search button or the magnifying glass icon, now, once that the website have searched for the appropriate information, please click on the HP Deskjet 3320 Color Inkjet printer and go to Software & Driver Downloads. It will ask for the operating system of your computer, after selecting your operating system please click on next and go to step 2 (select a download), now, click on Driver - Product Installation Software (2) and select the HP Deskjet Full Feature Software and Driver and then click on Download, It will be downloaded to your computer, After downloading, please search for the downloaded file and run it. That's it! just follow the Installation wizard for you to install the printer to your computer.

The problem is a "clogged" ink-path -- the ink is not getting sucked ("stucked" without the 'T') into the ink-jet mechanism, and is not getting sprayed onto the paper.

Use the HP Printing Assistant software to run a "head-cleaning" cycle, to see if the clogging can be done.

You can download the required installation drivers and software from manufacturer's site by clicking this link

On the page which opens, select your operating system to download the appropriate drivers and software.

To resolve the issue, follow the steps below.

1. Right-click on My Computer, and select Properties.
2. Click on the Advanced tab.
3. Under Performance, click Settings.
4. Click the Data Execution Prevention tab.
5. Select the Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select: option.
6. Click Add....
7. Browse to C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3\hpzeng07.exe and click Open.
8. Click Apply.
9. Click OK, and OK again.

Normal 0 In XP go to Control Panel
Open System
Click the Advanced tab
Click Settings under Performance
Click the Data Execution Prevention tab
Make sure Turn on DEP for all programs is NOT checked, check Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs.

Before you follow though with Hp's alternet driver site. Please run windows update for Vista un till no updates are left. If your printer still fails to run correctly than try HP's alternate drive.
