It's talking about where you plug the NIC (Network Interface Card) into, the slot, on a motherboard. This is an internal and external bus. The external bus is also called the expansion bus. However, when referring to a card to plug into the bus, it's the external bus.
There are different types of cards and different types of slots. The slots are color coded based on their type. This helps explain the different types:

The paths taken by data moving with a computer are called "buses". Multiple side-by-side paths force data to move in parallel, and not in series (one after another).

Ok. I got a Samsung Galaxy s5 that my mom used using straight talk service. So she switched to another phone and got the same number from the 5 ok. So i.have the old phone now and want to know what i.have...

First, check if the phone is network locked by Straight talk. if the phone is network loked, then you wil have to gert a sim card from Straight talk. if not locked, then you can get a sim card from any other service provider.

I have a Straight talk bring your on phone sim card W/ATT phone my question is can I put the Straight Talk Sim card in ATT phone & use the $ I have on my ATT account to activate the Straight Talk sim

Yes you can, however you will need to contact AT&T first to get the Network Unlock Code Key. Once the phone is unlocked, call Straight talk so they can activate their service on your AT&T phone and you may use your sim card then.

Full instrouctions on how to flash sprint htc evo 4g lte to stright talk

You can't flash a CDMA phone(HTC EVO 4G LTE on Sprint(CDMA network) to a GSM network(Straight talk which is on T-Mobile's network(GSM network) the hardware is not interchangeable. A GSM SIM card is not the same as a 4G LTE SIM card(UUID) they store different data. GSM SIM hold your carrier account information that authorizes you to use the network while a UUID only hold data that is relevant to you accessing the 4G LTE part of the network the remainder of your carrier data is stored on the phone hardware.

I want to convert my motorola blur from at&t to straight talk

It will take a straight talk SIM card in your Motorola. Since Straight Talk runs on the AT&T network, AT&T and Straight Talk SIM cards will work, easy as that.

Good luck!!

Upgrading the graphics card on a HP a1010y

Hi hutchie4,

Well, the bad news is that the a1010y doesn't come with a AGP or a PCI-X (Express) but you do have 3 PCI buses that come on that motherboard. As long as one of the buses are free, then you can purchase a PCI Graphics card. Depending on what you are looking for the graphics card to do, ie games, or Video movies, or just all around more speed on your screen, you can find PCI cards for each type of function. HERE is a place to explain what would be a good choice in Cards.

Good Luck,
