How do I increase my ring tone volume on my Moto Razor .?

The ringer circuit could be defective.

Dear Karen,
If you have a standard cell phone, the problem is likely your volume button.
The volume button controls the ringer loudness, and the same volume controls all of your calls incoming.
If your ring tone is loud, probably your volume is turned down for you to hear.
The same button controls both functions.
To change it, next time someone calls you, try pressing the volume button to "louder" WHILE they are talking to you.

if the all setting are ok??
then you have to check its ringing tones ,simply go to ringing tones under the settings and try to change the tone and you can increase the volume in this menu too.
if no ringing ton hear.
it is hardware issue.

Some how your phone was reset or had the tone turned off. Just follow the below guide and your audio should come back on. I would do a soft reset (turn off the handset, remove the battery then reinsert) before performing the instructions.

Tone settings
To select a ringing tone for voice calls, select Tones >
Ringing tone.
To select a ringing tone for video calls, select Tones > Video
call tone.
To set the ringing type, select Tones > Ringing type. You
can also set the device to sound a ringing tone that is a
combination of the spoken name of the caller and the
selected ringing tone, when someone from your contacts list
calls you. Select Tones > Say caller's name.
To set the volume level of the ringing tone, select Tones >
Ringing volume.
To set the various alert tones, select Tones > Message alert
tone, E-mail alert tone, Calendar alarm tone, or Clock
alarm tone.
To set the device to vibrate when you receive a call, select
Tones > Vibrating alert.
To set the volume level of the device keypad tones, select
Tones > Keypad tones.

Settings
In this menu, you can adjust various phone
settings. To reset some menu settings to their
default values, select Restore factory set.
Tone settings
Select Menu > Settings > Tone settings and from the available
options:
Ringing tone-To set the tone for incoming calls
Ringing volume-To set the volume level for the ringing and
message alert tones. If you set Ringing volume to be level 2 or
above, your phone rings with the ringing volume ascending
from level 1 to the level you have set when there is an
incoming call.
Vibrating alert-To set the phone to vibrate when you receive a
call or a text message
Message alert tone-To set the tone to sound when you receive
a text message
Warning tones-To set the phone to sound tones, for example,
when the battery is running out of power

Currently your mobile ringing tone is set at low ringing volume level.Thats why you are facing this problem.To increase your ring tone sound follow these step : Select Menu > Settings > Tone settings and from the available options: Select Ringing volume . first of all u can increase volume during call by pressing right button (middle one). but i think ur phone is set to max and u dont hear much - in this case probably some "metal dust" sticks on your speakers membrane - open case clean speaker gently or replace with new one...

There are 2 types of volume in your nokia phone that you can increase or decrease.

The first one is the ring tone volume. You can either increase or decrease your ring tone volume by pressing the menu key then go to settings, go to profile, select any desired profile go to personalise go to ringing volume, then increase or decrease by using the navigation button to the right or left.

The second way is to increase or decrease the volume of the speaker of your phone which i think is the cause of your question (this volume enables you to hear clear and loud the person on the other phone). You increase or decrease the volume by making a call, as soon as the call starts ringing, press the navigation key to right to increase the volume or to the left to decrease the volume.

I had this same problem with my Blackberry. You should check the settings on your sound and volume for incoming calls and make sure you have a tone set. You can also find a way to amplify your ringtone by hooking it up to your computer. If you dont' hear anything at all, then check the buttons on the side and see if that increases the volume. Please rate my answer.

ave you set it from inside the profiles for incoming calls. have you turned up the volume from the side of them phone when making or recieveing calls. set your pofile with all the loud tones and then it should work again.
