Oster has not made a manual for your specific model available online. The User Guide for the Oster 3320 3-Cup Chopper with With Attachment, which appears similar to your model may be of assistance. This User Guide may be downloaded here.
Some times it is best to get the motor rewound from a reliable rewoinding shops that are found in most places. This can work out much cheaper as ordering the motor might cost you twice the money you spend on the full unit. Also confirm if this can be brush failure , take opinion and estimate. Rewindings shops are seen everywhere in India but choose a reputed one who can do the winding for 230 volt mains voltage with accuracy.
I did some additional web searching due to the fact that the Ultimate Chopper website or 1-800 # doesn't support this product anymore. I located a website (Maxi-Matic, USA) that has an identical Ultimate Chopper (names Super Elite Cuisine Chopper) - model EC-750 - Phone # (626) 912-9877. They have replacement parts including the clear plastic cover lid.
The Kitchenaid food choppers have a few safety features implimented. If the unit is not assembled
properly, this may prevent the unit from turning on. Proper assembly is
below:
If it isn't all ready, please disassemble the entire unit. This means removing work bowl, work bowl
lid, and blade.
Start by placing the work bowl onto the motor base. The work bowl
handle should be facing at 9 o'clock, which is out to your left. Rotate
the handle downward until it locks in at the 6 o'clock position, which
will lock over the center of the button panel.
Repeat the process with the work bowl lid. The blade does not need to
be present for the motor to engage, if this is an assembly issue.
