Power cords are available in your local home workshop center. Try to check the exact fittings of the power cord and find the exact match and it will work perfectly. Power cords are not case sensitive.
many dells take proprietary power supplies. if you are using an aftermarket power supply, then you may have burned out your mobo. irregardless, your mobo may be dead, and that mey be the very problem.
The CPU must match the motherboard. You can go to the MOBO manufacturers website and find out exactly which CPU fits on that model. Without that information from the manufacturer you may fry something on the board.
