Does it shut off heater with lights and fan on or power off? Did you bypass the temp sensor or thermostat? If temp sensor that mounts above filter, see http://www.fixya.com/support/t15119324-comfort_zone_cz2011_heater_shuts_off .

Comfort zone infrared heater runs for a few minutes a then completely shuts off

if unit runs ok for 3 to five minutes then completely shuts all power lamps off , then its hi temp limit sensor (safety) has been tripped , this usually goes out due to failure of main temp control , in point of fact contacts in temp switch literally weld them self's together and cant separate to allow heater to control temp

My comford zone heater starts brings room to tempture and stops, but wont start.

does it come on after a few hours? or the next day? all heater have safety fuses in them that sense the temperature near the heating element and will shut down the power to the element to prevent fire. however these things fail some times on the side of caution. It is possible the air flow is not enough or the fuze is faulty

Iaqualink heater shuts down after a few minutes

Does the heater continue to fire if you run it in service mode? If so it probably is an Aqualink issue. I'd call the factory on that one and they should be able to get a rep or authorized service company to see what's happening.

If the heater is also shutting off in service mode the problem may be in the bypass ***'y. This is not an uncommon issue with the Minimax. Too much water is bypassing the heater and the water that does get in is staying there too long, triggering the high limit switch which will shut down the heater.

The heat for my 2006 suburban doesnt work all three zones passanger, driver, and rear. Just blows cold air. Could this be an accuator problems if its all three zones? Or should I be looking at the...

Temperature blending doors might need a reset. Find the fuse and pull it for a few minutes. If that doesn't work you may need to replace the blend door actuator. Or your cooling system may be clogged.

My Teledyne Laars LLD spa heaters starts and heats for a couple of minutes thins shuts down. I have tried this several times with the same results. I hear the switch click and then the heater ignites and...

Since the heater fires it sounds like it could be the bypass valve stuck open. The bypass valve allows some of the water to enter the heater, while the rest bypasses the heater and returns to the pool.

If the bypass is stuck open, or broken, it allows the vast majority of the water to bypass the heater and continue to the pool. The water that is in the heat exchanger will become too hot due to slow flow and activate the high limit switch, turning the heater off.

The bypass is located where the pipes attach to the heater and can be checked or replaced if needed fairly easily.

Comfort Zone heater model: CZ2011C. Shuts completely off in two minutes

FYI...I have a customer that brought his Comfort Zone CZ2011C to me for service. It does exactly the same thing, just powers off after a few minutes of operation. I contacted the company and receive no help at all telling me that repair parts are unavailable. Really??? Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with in over 29 yrs of appliance repair....
