I CHANGED ALL THE CARTRIDGES AS ADVISED BY YOUR TECH. What a huge expense to find out this DID nothing!. I suppose now you will advise me to change all the printer heads to the tune of another $100 plus. I would have like a ''right'' response in the first place. perhaps some can tell me the ''real'' problem.

Try This:
cold reset on the printer with only the power cable
connected. By doing so, the printer settings will default to factory
settings. Please note that after a cold reset the printer settings will
default to factory settings and you may have to re-configure all the
settings.
Press and hold the Return and Select buttons, then press Power button to turn on the printer.
