Yes, the NMEA- output (I think you lefy uot the "-" in your questoin), anyway, the NMEA - or NMEA negative or NMEA ref is hooked to battery supply ground.
Dont forget to program the Garmin to look for 48,000 baud data.
washed sceen with a mild cloth and clean warm water. It still has a little haze however w/ the plotter turned on it is almost impossible to notice the haze
I also have the Nautilus & the processor just isn't as fast as the newer units. You can adjust the track up mode to only refresh when the rotation of the map is over a cert amount, degrees, (resloution angle) if you have it set to a low value it will continually keep the route dead up & constantly refresh.
See section 4.3 Map orientation in the manual.
On the route reversal are you getting the pop up screen that alerts you that the route has been reversed?
I assume you have a manual?
I am actually contemplating selling my unit as I have a Garmin 478 from work & the screen is much easier to read in the bright sunlight. I had my Sitex on my Grady which had a bimini, but my Mako CC does not & the sunlight washes it out.
I'm thinking $375 for the whole unit with a wide area chart of MA.
It souds like your GPS is bad. It is either a RV16 or a GPK10. If the GPS is about 1 inch in width then it is a RV16. If the GPS is about 3 inches in width then it is a GPK10. Both GPS units are available through SITEX. 727-576-5995 x139
I don't know the answer to this because I am looking for the same thing. This is the answer I got from Si-Tex:
You are going to need a cable, cble-6pf-sit. This cable will plug into your GPS-90, on the other end is bare wires. You are going to wire this into the pc somehow.
(somehow?)That's the part i'm interested in the most!
I ordered the cable can find nothing that shows how to wire it. I assume that it's wired to a db9 serial connector but have no idea what the pinout connections are. If you find out please let me know.
