Refrigerator sound like it has a cricket in it

That's the compressor. Check the compressor mounts to see if they are cracked, loose, or have hardened or broken rubber bushings. Also check to see if the compressor housing is improperly touching something that transmits its vibration and acts like a sounding board. Sometimes there is a problem with freezer icing in high humidity conditions, leading to ice buildup on the refrigerant tubing at the compressor (excessive running) - this makes the tubing insulation rigid and things get really noisy. The fix is to shut everything down, let it defrost, and clean out the defroster drain tube.

If you can't find anything like that, you may have something going out in the compressor. If possible, make an audio recording and play it for a service technician at an appliance shop - he may be able to identify exactly what the problem is.

There's probably crickets in it, someone may have forgotten to seal the refrigerant/drain line hole from the exterior of the home.

sounds like the bearing is starting to get tight in the fan motor. i would replace the fan motor.

ice makers are tough to repair. should look at replacement. fairly simple replacement.

Check the compressor fan, it may need oil.

yes from what you've said it is the bearings if there not bad then there on there way. good luck
