SOURCE: Sportsart 1080hr has power, but only red emergency stop lights are flashing. Magnetic key in place. Nothing happens if I reset the emrg stop?

1) adjust the REED switch, test for open or defective, clean it, and tight the plug or connector very well.
2) After you fixed RUN the software calibration for easy diagnose, troubleshooting. and fix it.
God bless you

Hi , measure the output voltage in the
control board motor. If the voltage dissapear
in the moment the machine Stop, the problem
is the Controller B. Motor, Replace it.
IF the voltage is present
and the machine always stop, the problem is the Motor
repair or replace.

When switched on the treadmill beebs 4 times, screen comes on, then immediately cuts out.

Please make sure the safety key is installed on the console, if the problem continues, it most likely falls on the lower control board, MCB, which usually supplies the upper console with it's power needs along with controlling the walking belt and lift controls. Why my treadmils start working and and stops

Hi There, sorry to hear of your troubles. Could you mention what brand and model of treadmill? If this is a Horizon treadmill with E1 error, like models T101 and others from the years 2011-2013, there is one thing you can try. Unplug the treadmill and remove the motor cover to get to the Motor Control Board, or MCB. Be certain the treadmill is unplugged from the wall! Now, look on the MCB on the right side there may be ONE small blue "block" with a tiny screwdriver slot in the center, this is called a potentiometer, and if there is Only One, and a Horizon MCB, you can turn this pot to the right, clockwise, gently until it stops, and then back it off just a hair, reassemble unit, and try treadmill. If this doesn't help, the MCB most likely needs servicing due to failing storage capacitors which get quite hot while in use and can degrade over a few years of service. You can find some help by looking up jatinah electronics, who repairs these modules. Good Luck! ;o)

My treadmill turns on but completely cuts out and trips the house fuse box.. whats wrong

Either your Motor or Motor Control Board(MCB) is faulty.
Try testing your Motor with a Drill Battery:
1. Disconnect the machine's power lead from the power socket, so that there is no power to the machine.
2. Open the Motor Hood.
3. Disconnect the Motor + and - leads from the Motor Control Board.
4. Connect + and - leads(normally Red and Black) to the Drill Battery.
The Motor should turn the Belt.
With the Motor leads disconnected from the MCB, you can connect the machine to the power, Press Start, and if this trips your Fuse Box you know its definitely the MCB.
Only carry out these tests if you are competent.
Lethal Voltages are present.

My horizon treadmill immediately stops after 2 seconds

StarTrac 4500 Treadmill NO RPM Error Probable Cause A) Damaged or misaligned RPM sensor
B) Display Cable
C) MCB
D) Filter Network
Corrective Action A) Check the connection of the RPM sensor to the lower control board. Inspect RPM sensor and disc for build up of dirt, dust, or debris. Clean if necessary. Verify RPM sensor and disc are properly aligned. Units equipped with an "optical" RPM sensor (uses plastic RPM disc) should have the disc evenly spaced between the walls of the RPM sensor. Adjust if necessary. Units equipped with a magnetic "cherry" RPM sensor (uses a metal RPM disc) should have the sensor spaced 1/8" away from the flywheel. Adjust if necessary. B) Inspect the display cable for any nicks or breaks. Replace if necessary. If there is no visible damage to the display cable, wiggle the display cable to verify intermittent connection. If by wiggling the display cable, the PWM LED on the lower control board does not flash or intermittently respond, replace the display cable.
C) Refer to the NO RPM Flowchart from the service manual for MCB testing.
D) Refer to the NO RPM Flowchart from the service manual for testing of Filter Network.

All the lights come but belt does not turn. it does not start. i check the magnet and the reed switch and does line up 1/8 inch.

WITH A MULTI-METER CHECK CONTINUITY OF THE MOTOR OR IF YOU HAVE A NEW 9V BATTERY HANDY THAT WILL TURN THE MOTOR HOWEVER SLOWLY, THE MOTOR IS GOOD. NEXT YOU NEED TO DETERMINE IF THE MOTOR CONTROL BOARD IS GOOD IF ALL LEDS ARE LIT THEIR ONE THAT IS PWM LED THE FLICKERS FASTER EVERY TIME YOU INCREASE SPEED AND VISA VERSA. THE UPPER CONSOLE IS SEND A SIGNAL COMMAND TO HE LOWER BOARD. IF THAT PWM IS FLICKERING AND WE HAVE ELIMINATE THE MOTOR THEN MCB IS DEFECTIVE. LAST BUT NOT LEAST TWO OTHER THING WE CAN TRY EITHER A BAD RIBBON OR UPPER CONSOLE!!

Lx30h hobart dw. booster will not turn on. element good,hi-limit is good, changed temp probe, still no power to contactor

The booster heat control circuit is controlled by the relay board. Visually check for loose or burnt relay contacts...
You will see the booster LED light when it calls for heat. Some newer machines have a second high limit on the right hand side of the booster tank.
It may be your control board is configured for low temp with no booster. When you power up, the display should say LX30H. If not
Pull open the upper drawer, place a magnet over the door interlock switch.

CAUTION, 220 volt power is present. be carefull what you touch.

on control board, short J5-1 and J5-2, then power up. You are in factory setup. press select on the control board to see each option on the front panel., press up arrow on control board to step up through options for each step. when done, press the off button on front panel. remove short and start up normally. With the magnet in place, AND THE DOOR CLOSED, run the machine and observe the relay board status lights.
If you want to adjust the temp set points, with the machine off, press and hold the hidden key behind the front panel logo, and press select on the control board.. Or on power up, hold the wask key..Same to adjust options as above. Press off to exit.

863 stops in tracks

When all movement of the machine stops the B.I.C.S controller ( under your right elbow )is detecting a " safety " problem. When you get in the machine, turn the key switch to " on , turn and look at the B.I.C.S controller lights. They need to come on in sequence. Only lamp lit now is the seat, pull down seat bar, and that lamp should light. After you push the button to operate, the other 2 lamps should light. Once in the machine, bar down and it ready to travel, use your arms and raise yourself OUT of the seat about a couple of inchs, if the seat light goes out, replace the seat switch. Also ( will need to raise the cab ) check that the seat switch plunger bolt it tight. If it is loose and not holding the magnet in a fixed poistion, now lighned up with the switch that detects where the magnet is, the B.I.C.S controller thinks the OPERATER bounced out and WILL stop the machine. I think it takes aprox 3-10 seconds to make the ecm re-act to the " NO OPERATER " signal Good luck..

Treadmill trips electrics

Check to see that the treadmill does not draw more amp than stated in the owners manual. If you are, then the problem is in treadmill. If not try another circuit in the house (not just another receptacle).

The convergence IC's should be the first suspect in any convergence issue. Hopefully you can place the magnets back where they were or you will have that alignment to deal with first.
