Where is the Magic focus? i have a Hitachi 47'' widescreen 2004 ultravision digital.i have been looking forever and the only way yo fix my Double image problem is to find that.Plus the problem is There are two images The main one and a Second Purple on a little to the left so if you can help me please reply!

Hi, magic focus button is behind a small door on the front of the set just below the screen, I don`t think it is going to help I believe your convergence IC`s have failed,try pushing it once and let it finish, if still 3d image you need to call a tv tech, good luck, video-tek

You have a defect in the convergence circuit. Both chips will need replaced and possibly a resistor or two. Chip part numbers are STK392-110. Typical repair runs around $350
Good Day; You may have a poor seated cable connector. Unplug TV from A/C, remove back look for a large black connector. It connects between the Main Digital Module and the Drive PWB. Re-insert both ends several times to make better contact, use contact cleaner if have but not always needed. Good Luck, big IRISH.
it sounds like your blue convergence ic is getting weak you need to replace the ic's STK392-110 and you should replace both because when 1 is bad the other will go real soon. They are inexspensive at the sight I posted and you will also get free tech online support if you purchase them there. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
