Acer flickering display is a common problem. Dull or black screen is also there. I went to the service center and they have a huge list of customers with same issue. They kept my laptop for 5 days, claimed that they have changed the inverter board and gave me back. But with in 2 days the dull screen is back. God knows what to do now. I strongly suggest not to buy acer.
