You should be able to clean the exterior of the lens with a clean microfiber cloth or lens cleaning papers (available at even wal-mart). If the spots are in the inside of the lens body, you have to send this in to be cleaned as the camera will have to be disassembled to do it right.

Block spot on all photos

Either the lens has a dirty spot or the CCD sensor is faulty or the sensor has a dirty spot on the surface of the sensor..

When i turn on the camera there is a black spot in the view finder that shows up in all the pictures

This is most likely dirt on your lens or mirror.
Try cleaning your lens first - both ends if it is detachable.
If that fails then you should take the camera to a technician to clean the mirror.

Our camera has a black spot on the screen and shows up on the pictures as well is there a way we can fix it?

Turn the camera on and extend the lens, wipe the front lens with the proper cleaning materials "lens paper and camera lens fluid" try the camera again to see if it worked, if no improvement! there maybe deb-ri inside the lens housing or camera body. At this point it will need a qualified camera technician to see if it can be repaired.

Caplio R7 Lens having black spots

Sounds like the spots are on your sensor. If on the lens, it would be too out of focus to matter.

Black spot

Hi,

If the black spot is always on the same location then you have to clean your lens, if it changes location, bring it to the service center for firmware reload.

I hope this helps.

There could be dust on lens. You could try cleaning it.

Does it appear in your pictures?

Black spot on picture

My Nikon was having the same problem with the stationary black spot. I used a can of Dust Off ( the original compressed gas duster). I just removed the lens and held the camera upside down (lens facing the floor) and blew my compressed air inside and my black spot disappeared. Just a thought you might like to know !! Good luck.
