How do i stop the blinking blue light on my ge 6.0 phone?

Screen show new voive mail but mail is empty.

    hi i have a problem with my ge 6.0 phone I dont have amanuel and do not know how to listen to my voice mail.

    thank you the light went off,but I still would like to know how to check voice mail when calls come in as there is no button indicating how to answer voice mail.

    I cleared all messages then received another call so it started blinking again.So now I need to know how to listen to my voice mail.

Hi... first of all clear all voice mails from the provider (Comcast digital voice service allows you to do it via web),  and ur dial tone will returne to normal sound and ur light indicator will stop flashing....

    hi i think this solution will solve ur problem,, By selecting (yes) default settings in the handset - the flashing  will stop permanently...

The base "charge/in use" light is blinking two blinks each time.

New Voice Mail flashing light
press "mute" key to access menu, press the up or down arrow key labeled "caller ID- volume" until you get to "handset setup", press the "mute" key again, press the down or up arrow until you have "defaultsetting" selected, press "mute" key, press "1", then press "mute" once more. At this point your handset will reset clearing the indicator for all the handsets. I've had to do this twice on my phones and it worked every time.

New Voice Mail flashing light
What worked for me was to call my phone from another phone and leave myself a voicemail. I then went in and retrieved and deleted that voicemail. Once I hung up from my voicemail service my handsets reset about 10 seconds later.

Subscriber is T-Mobile@Home. First, cleared all messages from T-Mobile voicemail.

Now to fix your GE phone:


Push the program key. Select Handset Setup Push the program key Select Default Settings Push the program key Select 1 Yes. Push the program key
