Battery replacement for G Shock AWG-M100

Sounds like someone has replaced the rechargeable cell with a regular silver oxide of the same dimensions. Normally this doesn't work as the rechargeable cells have a part of the connector welded to them and normal cells don't. If you can source the rechargeable cell they are relatively easy to fit you just have to make sure the connector on the cell goes into the righ tplace on the watch.

My acer wont start up

Acer laptops allow you to take your work and entertainment on the go.

You can work on a presentation during a long flight or watch a DVD in the middle of a park.

Acer laptops can do this because they are powered by batteries, allowing the laptop to run without having to be plugged into a power source.

Normally, the battery can be recharged by plugging the laptop back into a power socket.

But certain problems can keep the battery from charging.

Electrical Connection

For laptops to charge, they need to be connected to a power source.

Although it may look like you have the cable plugged in correctly on the Acer, make sure that the cord is firmly plugged into the power socket.

There should be a light on the Acer keyboard as well as a power symbol on the taskbar for your operating system that tells you whether the laptop is running off electrical or battery power.

If it is plugged in, make sure that this icon shows that it is on electrical power.

Also check the socket where the Acer is plugged in and make sure that it isn't turned off at the main circuit breaker.

Battery

Turn the Acer over and make sure that the battery is properly placed in the battery compartment. Most laptops will have locks that keep the battery securely in place.

These locks can sometimes come loose.

Use a piece of strong tape as a temporary measure to keep a loose battery in place.

Clean the terminals on the battery to ensure that there is a good connection.

Remove the battery from the battery compartment.

Apply rubbing alcohol to a lint-free cloth. Rub this cloth over the shiny metal terminals on the battery.

Over time, batteries lose their ability to be recharged.

If neither of the aforementioned steps works, you may just have a bad battery.

Check with Acer or other vendors to find a replacement for your model.

BIOS Update

The BIOS (Basic Input Output System) controls a number of basic functions for a computer, such as assigning the hard drives and other system functions.

The BIOS also controls the battery charging function.

Certain Acer models have a bad BIOS that operates the computer normally but doesn't charge the battery.

To solve this problem, you need to perform an operation called Flashing the BIOS where you download a new version of the BIOS and upload it to your Acer.

Check on the Acer support site to see whether your computer model could possibly be affected by this.

Adapter

The power adapter, the part that plugs into the Acer from the power socket, can go bad.

Check for a power light on the adapter.

If the light is not lit, you probably have a bad adapter.

Replacement adapters can be purchased from Acer or other online vendors.

I need a replacement rechargeable battery

I would try Google if you have not----most of these battery packs have a generic number right on the label on the battery, did that recently for a friend looking for sealed packs for a large electric scooter, inside found the generic one indicated.

The light on the end of the dock stays red. Battery when recharged turns green. When placed back on the dock, then the light goes back to red.

Turn your camera on and look at the battery life after you had it charging for a while. your rechargable batteries may be bad or getting bad. Try trading out the rechargeable batteries or try plugging in your charger on a different outlet at home

Most of the plug-in digital-programmable timers have rechargeable battery.
Some have a AAA battery that is replaceable, but most do not.
59203 has rechargeable battery.
Battery is not replaceable.

Plug timer into wall for 1/2-1 hour.
If display does not show, then battery did not recharge.
Either timer is broken or wall outlet does not have electricity

I own a Braun Electric Shaver Model 6525 Flex Ultra Speed. I plug it in and nothing! I am pretty sure the rechargeable battery needs replacing and I don't know how to open the razor to replace it. Also the...

if the shaver is DEAD and the green light no longer illuminates when you plug it in, the circuit board is almost certainly bad. The circuit board will burn out if you run the shaver from the batteries for a long time after the batteries have stopped charing properly.
you can purchase a new circuit board which has the batteries alrady on it. it just needs to be dropped in place inside the shaver.
you will find this part at shaveroutlet.com. see link below

RCA headphones - nicad or alkaline batteries WHP141

BATTERY INSTALLATION AND INFORMATION
Your wireless headphone unit requires two rechargeable AAA batteries.
Rechargeable batteries are uncharged when you purchase them. Before
you can use the wireless headphones, the batteries must be charged for
16 hours. Follow these steps to install and charge the batteries.
Installing the Rechargeable Batteries
Take care to follow these steps to correctly install the batteries.
1. On the right headphone, locate the battery compartment (1).
Use the finger depression on the compartment to turn the battery
compartment cover counterclockwise to remove the cover.
2. Insert two AAA rechargeable batteries, carefully following the
markings inside to ensure the batteries are inserted properly, with
the + and - ends in the correct positions.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
Charging the Rechargeable Batteries
To recharge the headset unit, follow the directions below. Note: The
cradle/transmitter on the WHP141 is not a recharging cradle, although
you may place the headset in the cradle during recharging.
Follow these steps to recharge the NiMH rechargeable batteries.
1. Make sure the ON/OFF switch (2), located on the right headphone,
is in the OFF position.
2. Connect the AC/DC main power adapter to the DC IN power
supply socket (11), located on the back of the cradle/transmitter.
3. Plug the adapter into an electrical outlet.
4. Connect the charging cable (10), located on the back of the
cradle/transmitter to the recharging input (3), located on the right
headphone. The headphones can either be placed in the
cradle/transmitter or placed next to the unit. If the headphones are
connected correctly, the charging LED indicator light on the
cradle/transmitter (8) illuminate.

Bike runs until the battery dies

Rectifier and/or stator, could be the problem. Check the amperage out put with an amp meter at idle and at 3000 RPM to determine. Troubleshoot all electrical terminals, disconnect, clean, and apply a small amount of Di Electric grease to contacts.
Corrosion causes a lot of problems and is common on bikes after a few years. The main ground wire from the battery to where it connects to the frame is important also. I have found this heavily corroded on a lot of bikes over 10 years old.
Good luck, hope this helps.

Battery problem

Batteries in portable systems on average last approximately 300 to 500 recharge cycles (Roughly 12 to 18 months) and are considered a consumable item (Hence the 1 year warranty when the rest of the system can have a 3 to 5 year warranty). So your battery replacement is not entirely unusual. If a replacement battery is detected and recharges normally, then stops working after 12+ months of heavy use, the failure is normally the battery.

One thing to check is to see if the battery is under recall:

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=BATT-LENOVO

Google shows that Lenovo batteries run about $100 for a N-Series system (4400 mAh) which is about normal pricing for a laptop battery.

I have a Norelco 6885XL electric razor that won't hold a charge. It will "recharge" to 44 minutes, but once below 39 minutes left it goes to 0 when turned on.

It's easy - I replaced mine (Norelco 6885XL) with a soldering iron & batteries I found online. Here's one place that sells them:

http://www.electricshaverstore.com/get_list_145.htm

As these are NiCd, I always drain them totally dead, then recharge, as this type of battery does suffer from the "memory effect".
