I am also facing this trouble, with Di3510. some time machine work for many copies fine. then suddenly the 0500 error code appear. I checked complete fuser unit... Both lamps are ok, Thermo switch is ok, i checked both thermistors and in my view they are ok (checked with multimeter while warming them). I first reset the code as mentioned in the service manual of this machine. the code can remove but it comes back after some time. I checked the Electricity voltage as this machine is 120v input. Voltage are ok. Then i ask my Electronic board expert to check the Power supply and he told me that the power supply is ok... just some dry sold he found. So until now i am not able to detect the trouble even though i arranged another fuser unit of the same machine and it also gave the same error code c0500. As i am a Technision of copiers. Please give any good suggestion if any one have. Thanks
Remove the fuser unit and verify the fuser heater lamp continuity and the thermofuse continuity.To reset the trouble code please tell me the copier model.
The users manual says when you get this error to reboot machine and if the error doesn't go away the problem can only be fixed by an authorized service provider.
With it still under warranty, I would hesitate in any fixes that may negate said warranty. Here is the information to get a hold of Konica: call 1-800-208-1203, select option 4 and have your serial number available.
You might also call the place you purchased it from, being only a week old, it should not be having any issues. I hope this helps
fuser problem to rest this code you need to turn on the machine and open front cover then remove one small cover in the lift side machine you will find small botton black color (trouble) press it
You reset the code by pressing the "Trouble reset switch on the Tech Rep setting Switch board, located under the control panel, open the machine front cover its a small circuit board with two small black press type switches (left side switch)
