DVDs on my Sony SLV-D350P DVD/VHS player play in black and white

Some inputs on tvs won't process the color signal. Try one of the other inputs. Mine does the same. If u have already used the working ones on something else, U will need a switch to select one or the other available at Radio Shack if u can find one.

The problem is in the color processing ic, far cheaper to replace the player than have it repaired.

because on line out video mode are in NTSC and not in PAL how must be to play in color mode

No, most DVD players sold in regular store are for R1 only, you need to look online for multiregion player.

Try buying a DVD Player disk drive cleaner.

The laser is failing. It's called "digital drop-out". A replacement laser runs around $60, but you're better off just replacing the unit.
