Guitar Hero III for Wii, notes not hitting

It has worked fine, but now Guitar Hero III for the Wii is not hitting the notes or holding long notes. I thought it was the guitar so I got a new guitar (although it was not a Nintendo brand) and it is doing the same thing. Is it the game? Any suggestions?

In the Guitar Hero video options there is a way you can Calibrate the lag between your Wii and your TV.

I think you're just missing the notes. :D

Try it calibrating it should help.

When playing video games on an HDTV there can be a slight delay between the input and the picture on the screen, because the TV spends time processing the signal. Most games won't be a problem with this, but rhythm games need to be right on. Your TV may have a "game mode" you can set it to that will sync things up better. Check the on-screen menus for your TV for an option like this.

The problem is the guitar. I am pretty sure you did not have the problem when you barely got your guitar. Its a wear and tear issue.

Syncing with Rock Band.

From Harmonix spokesperson: "Support for the GHIII guitar peripherals in Rock Band on the Wii was not possible without Activision's permission. Therefore, any questions regarding lack of compatibility with GH III hardware should be directed to Activision."
