I use the Zippy WK-9100 Turbo Office Keyboard with Windows XP. When I start my computer, the F Lock is on. I would like the F Lock to be off at startup.
I have looked at the options in the keyboard driver and don't find any that will keep the F Lock off at startup.
Do I need to tweak the registry? What do I do?

I don't think there is a book with this keyboard. All the explanation is on the box itself.
But I went to Start/Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device Manager, I uninstalled the Keyboard Driver that was there and then re-booted the computer.
Now, although it still says 'Standard 101/102-key or Microsoft Natural PS2 Keyboard', the F-Lock light has not come on again, even after three re-boots. I don't klnow, this may be just temporary. I don't know what will happen after I completely switch off the computer and start it again. But for now, the problem seems to have gone.
Apparently not. As I suspected, when I switched off the computer for the night and started it this morning, there was the F-Lock light again. So it was indeed a temporary phase.
Yes, I do need a permanent solution. Thanks.
try going into control panel/system and see how the set up for the keyboard is set. The problem with mircosoft is that there are at least 3 diffierent places that you can or might need to go to set the keyboard and other keys (special keys,) did you get a book with your keyboard if you did look up the key set up and if should tell you how to set defaults.
