To capture video acer aspire 6920 acer crystal eye webcam builti

I have acer aspire 6920 laptop builtin with acer crystal eye webcam. there is no default settings to capture video. i can record snab shots, but couln't capture video, please help me

how to use the webcam? or better yet do i need to download anything to make my own videos? i have acer that haves crystal webcam build in.

You need to download a video capturing device
if your system did not come with one
the built in webcam is exactly that for messaging programs and taking snaps but they can be used for video and this is usually something you need to get on your own

I have a problem with my webcam of acer 6920g.when i try to open it it comes out camera not found.why?i have already tryed to reinstall the drivers of the cryrtal eye but it's not working.i have saw that...

hi... pls look for the version of your crystal eye webcam that fits to your camera.... then uninstall the one you already installed and reinstall it... make sure that you will use the right CD driver of your camera... thank you very much...

hey, I had the same problem, I've got an Acer Aspire 6920 and I swapped out Vista that was on it for Windows XP

I went to the link you posted but it just goes to acer.com
so I figured I'd try something

if you go to acer aspire 6920 drivers, you can only pick Vista and Windows 7, and not Windows XP

instead, pick 6530 drivers (older acer) and pick the Bison driver:

Install it (with or without installing the previous Crystal eye, doesn't matter, and it will work properly

Video recording on webcam

install the proper driver for your laptop from acer's online support & download centre, most likely the correct driver is the one called Acer Crystal Eye or something like that

u want to record video u can use cyberr link power producer provided by acer notebooks or any video capturing software and in the cap settings select crystal eye webcam as a source and ther eu go start rec ur video
