I just bought a sanyo vpc-t850 camera last night, I installed the software, I took a couple of pics and was trying to upload them the problem is I plug my camera up with my usb to my pc, I turn the camera on, and I choose the option pc everytime I do that, my pc shuts down and when it goes to restart it will not get off the part where windows loads. Can you help me find a way to upload my pics, I really like this camera and I would hate to have to return it for another one, if I can fix the problem. thanks

You may have accidentally changed the white balance. Go into the menu and change it to auto white balance.

Install proper driver before making a connection.

use NiMH batt.

The sanyo does not need any drivers, plug it in your computer with usb, turn camera on, select "PC" and press the SET button. now your camera will show up in my computer or computer as a removeable storage device and inside you will find the pictures.

I have the same camera so I know this is how its done.

Do not spend any money on this camera.It is junk and Sanyo is no help.Do yourself a favor and throw it away!

did u restart ur pc after installed ur software?
is it plugged correctly?

I have installed all the software on the disc that came with the camera. Connected the camera to the laptop and the laptop will not recognise. I have photo on the camera I would like to download but cannot!

i have had the same camera doing the same thing sence i took it out of the box, however i have no recipt because it was a gift and sanyo still will not fix it even after they admited it was a manufacurers defect, never buy their products again, i am boycotting sanyo and all they sell! their customer service reps are the most rude and nasty people i have ever encounterd in a call center and that includes the highest up person you can talk to, trust me i talked to him more than once trying to fix this p.o.s camera.
