I missed the small plugs that let fuel in under the large floats.

SOURCE: Yamaha 2001 Raptor 660, need to clean my carb

Drain and replace the gas with fresh.
Remove the air cleaner and spray carb cleaner into the inlet. Work your throttle a little then put everything back together and try to start it.

SOURCE: Hyosun Scooter Carb Adjustments

Very good thought process on the adjustments. The throttle screw sets the idle speed and the air screw sets the fuel mix at idle speed. The stock setting is 1.5 turns outward. IMPORTANT > do not tighten these two adjusters down. Only screw these in until they LIGHTLY seat. Now turn each adjuster one and one half turns outward.

From this point you adjust the idle speed then adjust the air screw for fastest idle speed at that throttle screw setting. If the idle speed becomes faster than desired after adjustment, just reset the throttle screw and then reset the air screw.

A “very helpful” rating for this answer? Thanks!

SOURCE: Air box and crank case fuel flooding problem

Well there only one way the fuel can get into the crankcase and that's from the fuel tank. The petcock must be draining and the float needles are not stopping the fuel flow. Do you have a prime position on the petcock? If so do not run the bike in the position. Try topping the tank off with gas and letting it sit for a while and see is the gas has gone down and then check the crankcase and see if there's fuel in it again. i still say its got to be your petcock.

SOURCE: I have a 03 Yamaha 660 raptor one of the carbs

Did you reset (adjust)the float inthe float chamber to tht carburator which is leaking ?
You will probabley have to adjust tht float to stop from overflowing in other words we call it flooding.
Check the float pin of wear at the tip.
Hope this helps!

Yamaha 50 raptor loses spark when you put it in gear. Cranks and runs great , main jet in carb has been cleaned .

So, it runs fine until you go from neutral to Fwd? Possibly a safety switch such as the brakes must be on when going into gear.. Need more info.....

Fuel supply problem somewhere. How is the float adjustment and the float valve? I'd guess the level adjustment is too low.

Hi Thomas only thing I can think of is that its not getting enough air is it the right filter as it may be not be allowing enough air through. As you probably know if you don't get the right amount of fuel & air it won't run right. Hope it helps cheers Paul

Kawasaki Mule bleeding coolant causing problems

Its probably the head gaskets. When you do the compression test its not running and the holes in the gasket could seal up. When it gets hot a hole could appear in the gasket or even a crack in the head.
Its clear from the rising coolant levels that something is putting pressure into the coolant, do the bubbles in the coolant smell of fuel?

Overheating, new pump, new coolant, new oil. And rad is clean !! Im stumped

General advice: Check that the thermostat is working and not stuck closed or open. Then make sure you have all the air out of the radiator. Also make sure the radiator fan is plugged in and working properly.
