Instruction for zen mosaic by creative

Here is the step-by-step introduction for you:
Step1. Download, install and then launch Video Download Studio from http://www.downloadvideos-convert.com/download-videos-music.
Step2. click“ add” button to load your files to Video Download Studio.
Step3. Click “convert” button on the top to switch to convert interface.
Step4.click on the videos, choose them as the conversion file.
Step5. Click the drop-down list to select the MP4 format for each video.
Step6. Click“ convert” button at the bottom to begin the conversion. Video Download Studio will convert your videos one by one. After the task finished, you can find your videos on the conversion file.

well, creative zen likes avi, mpg and wmv formats

the reason that your creative zen won't read the avi is because the necessary codec is missed.

you can use iorgsoft creative zen video converter to convert the video to mp4,wmv then put them to creative zen.

go to that and download the Creative Media Explorer Software when you click show details it says the video converter converts and puts it on the media player

The videos have to be converted using Creative Centrale in order to placed on the player. This was the same way with a lot of Creative's Zen line of players also.

did it come with software
do a google on your model and download the convert software
it probally has the format as cell phone videos but yours is probally easier.. you could just try a usb cable and port over to the folder where the videos and music is on,

The Zen Mosaic wants videos in a wierd format (CMV) so you have to do it via Creative Centrale.

I also had a problem briefly when CC would not open. It worked when I installed the software direct from the player but somewhere in the process of upgrading the software to the latest version on the Creative website it stopped working. I would click on the icon and nothing would happen. I cannot remember what I did to make it work again. I suspect I uninstalled it and did it again from scratch.

The video needs to be converted to the format that the screen can handle. You need to use the software that Creative provides for this purpose

ok so if it isn't working right, then hit the reset button,
and to get the stuff onit just plug it into thecomputer, then open up the my computer screen, and access the mp3 go into music.
that is where you copy and paste music.

the stuff that comes with it, are just expamples and you can follow the the same instructions ubove to delete them...
and you do know you need headphones to be plugged in to listen, speaker or not...right??

I think alot of people are having the same problem I was. We got home, opened the box, plugged it in the computer, and nothing useful happened so then we installed the mini-cd. Well the thing is windows stops looking for a driver once it searches and finds nothing, and unfortunately those of us using XP do not automatically have the drivers. So...

SOLUTION
------------------
-If you have not already installed the mini-cd, do so, or download from Creative's site in the support section(if you do you might want to grab the latest firmware update)
-Once pack has been installed the drivers have been as well, BUT as I mentioned we now have to tell windows to look for them again.
-Reconnect your Mosaic
-Right click "My Computer"
-Chose "Properties"
-Click the "Hardware" tab
-Click "Device Manager"
-A window will pop up and you will see a long list with (hopefully only) one thing under the "Other Devices" sublist. It should be something along the lines of "Creative Zen Mosaic". Right click it
-Chose "Update Drivers"
-Follow prompts agreeing to search and auto install
-Once install is done, in a moment the screen on your Mosaic will say "Docked"
-Congratulations!
If you have downloaded the updated firmware this is the time to install:
-Ensure your Mosaic is in "Docked" mode
-Execute the firmware update
-Click "Upgrade"
-Wait (it takes a moment or two)
-Updater will say it is complete
-Mosaic will reboot
-Click "Close"
-Congratulations!
