How do I remove the fabric from the car seat to wash it?

You may have solved this problem already, but I had a similiar situation. If you can remove the round hard plastic fasteners that the straps pass through, it really is not too difficult to take the pad off. They are just clips that push against the hard plastic back of the seat to hold the straps in place. To remove them, I just took a flat head screw driver and placed it against the long side of the fastener and pushed up and toward the center of the fastener. I did this for both sides of the fastener and it popped right out. The straps then just unhook from the back and thread through to the front. Make sure to note how the straps are placed so that they can be replaced correctly. The pad washed up very nicely for me. I used warm water and regular detergent. I let it dry in the sun.
