Cant install windows xp

it seems u have done every try.So now i recommend u too backup ur necessary files and install a fresh copy of windows via cd.
I recommend u to use xp or windows 7.

have a acer 5532 but cant seem to turn on

Your laptop cant sustain the load of windows 7 thats why your numbpad is not working please re-install your previous windows. Thanks

urs is giving problem bcs of two reasons.

1. pls unnstall the USB drivers from Driver manager and then do wht i suggest.
,i think the most likely reason is bcs u havnt install the correct drivers installed for USB, pls find drivers, or download it and reinstall drivers. then restart it , the solution u will be see and infact if ur USB then also this is the soultion for that.

2. the last and leastt possible cause is ur HW problem. pls visit nearest lappy shop if 1st method doesnt work.

ok well first iv had nothing but bad luck with them. i think you would need to buy a new copy of windows xp, u can choose the version. you cant get your factory settings back with all the programs that acer gives you when you buy your pc, unless they send you a new hard drive. the restore cds i think with acer word from that specific restore partition on the hard drive. and with most pcs from i think 2002 and up have the F11 option with the restore partition to reset and restore your computer. when they erased your hard drive, they erased every little bit of data that was on it. me personally can restore all, if not some of the information and personal data you have. please email me the model # serial # and as much else info you can provide of your computer. and i will do as much as i can to help. if you have any more questions, please email me at [email protected]
