Unfortunately, the quality of Technics seems to be going down, and the issues seem to be going up. We are an authorized Technics service center, and we have more issues with these headphones then we know what to do with. We won't even work on these anymore, because they are so badly made. They break easily, and it's a **** shoot everytime you buy one. Some work good, others barely work.
Hopefully it is a 'burn in' issue, but I can tell you from experience, these are just crappy made headphones. I hate to say it, as I am a LONG TIME Technics fan - still am - which is why this hurts sooo much.
Take a look at SkullCandy headphones. Company includes a LIFETIME warranty with them, even if you break them! All the other DJ brands - SONY, PIONEER, STANTON, etc have the same issues as the Technics. They all break easily, and then you have to buy new ones, because these companies don't make the parts available, or they make their warranty's last for only 30 or 60 days. Sennheiser are also good, but their warranty is only for 90 days on headphones. I don't like the way SkullCandy's look - too 'bright' for me, but the quality is excellent. (Just wish they would make some simple headphones for DJs!)

There are a lot of "knock-off" versions of these headphones (they say Pioneer on them and everything) look on eBay, you'll see the difference in the pics. Make sure you only buy from an authorized dealer....

Also if mp3 files are cd files made smaller so they can fit in your mp3 player CD's have the best qaulity of sound so when its converted you lose some qaulity and the bit rate is lowered

TO:
seven4cthe intermittent reception is probably trouble with the transmitter board in the sending unit. SennheiserUSA can fix it reasonably and quickly. just contact them by email. great company.

If you don't hear any sound on your PC but on laptop, make sure to eject any output jack from your sound card and only connect headphone to proper output. Headphone doesn't work with desktop speakers cocurrently.

Guest, your issue is likely caused by a "switch" that will enable or disable the headphone jack. Check your volume settings and see if there is anything there to flip the switch. It may also be under a sound properties dialog

As for your headphones not working on the PC, make sure you are plugging them into the soundcard, not the CD player. Also, check the computer volume settings.

Or maybe your brother is listening from a better source. IE. you're using an onboard soundcard, and he's using a m-audio etc. try comparing them by running them on the exact same source.

The left speaker on my headphones always has a loud humming sound. What gives?

Sometimes you need to "burn in" your headphones. Used headphones usually produce a better sound than new ones. Simply let it play some music continuously. I usually burn in my headphones with some AM/FM static. After a while, the sound should improve. Good luck!

I can not hear any sound through the headphones on my pc, but they work on a laptop
I cannot hear anything through my headphones even though I have fully charged them and plugged into my stereo. Was trying to find an instruction manual online but have had no look. HELP!!!
Same here. Also, mine just seem to cut off every once in a while. I don't think that it has anything to do with the transmission because even the little power button on the back of the right ear doesn't come on when you put pressure on the head band piece. But normally it gives me music. All in all, these are alright...they allow me to work and listen to music(hence blocking out most of the other distractions in the office). Even with all the downsides, I'd definately recommend this to anyone with ADD. It's worth it to spend $100 to have a better work environment now...even if a better product comes along before too long. Just think about how much more productive you can be.
i done everything by the book in detail people hear me but i dont hear them i have surround sound is that a problem
These headphones sound utterly ****. And their mic doesn't work with Mac laptops for some bizarre reason, while others in the reange from Logitech do...why?
I have a set of the T206 wireless headphones. I tried them when I first bought them and there was so much noise on them that I thought I wired them up wrong. But now over 1 year later I've tried again and they are still very noisey and I can hardly hear the music over the noise. I've tried them in 2 other houses thinking it might be interference, but it's still the same. Now they are out of warranty and I can't use them. Any ideas?
On Xbox live People can hear me when im chatting, but i cant hear them. When i move my controller there thuis really loud crackling noise. I'm thinking it might be the wire that connects it to the controller, but i dont know.
I've never used them and don't know any other way than put the plugs in the front of the tower there nowere els
i got a news odyssey headphones and it don`t got good sound
