The ink your purchased is likely a cheap watered down version of what your printer is meant to take. You may notice that the ink smears when you rub the page directly after printing. Why you chose to use the blue and red ink to make black blows my mind. These refill kits are insanely cheap and buying the black could not have been much more. Not using black ink in the black cartridge would explain why your print is faded. Also, there is no way to reset the ink levels on this type of cartridge. As long as the printer still prints, just ignore the ink level indicator and print until the ink runs dry. I recommend Cartridge World for ink refills because they use high quality ink to manufacturer specified volumes while still saving you money.

After installing new ink cartrige , low ink warning continues to appear. why and how do i fix this issue

Using generic or refilled Dell Series Ink cartridges will always give the low ink message.

To remove the message, try the Dell Series brand from Walmart Staples or Dell's website.

I just had my cartridges refilled but my printer still says low ink i used my old cartridges from dell how can i get my 926 printer to work with the refilled cartridges it will not print.

With this type of cartridge your printer will always think refills have low ink. This is because the electronics on the cartridge cannot be reset to tell the printer it is full of ink. However you should still be able to print and just ignore the ink levels. I think the problem you are having is that the electronics on your cartridge are no longer functioning. Unfortunately there is no way to fix this problem. I know you can buy refills from Cartridge World stores, but I don't know about other retailers.

Where do i inject the ink in my cartridges on a lexmark printer. i need to refill both cartridges. i have the black and coloured ink, and the syringe, however i dont know where to inject.

Usually the refill kits come with instructions that cover many cartridges.

A lot of the lexmark's use HP style cartridges and those often you lift the label to access the fill holes.

FILL SLOWLY and do not over fill. Usually the cartriges hold so many ml and youcan measure that on your syringe. Knock off a few ml from what they say the cartridge takes.

How do you fill empty ink carteges

if u want a working printer which would last for a long time ... do not refill a cartrige coz the kind of ink used in the refill and the ink used by the company are of different quality .,.. the ink in the original printer doesnt harm the head of the printer but the refill ink just makes a coat on the printer head and damages the printer head the original cartriges are no doubt expensive but ur printer is worth

Dell series 9 refill and low ink warnings

The series 9 cartridges can be refilled. As long as the electronics are still functioning on your cartridge you should be able to print no problem. There is no way to reset the ink levels on these cartridges so you will just need to ignore the ink level warnings. I would recommend Cartridge World for ink refills. Many other stores and on-line sellers don't do the cleaning, vacuum filling, electrical testing, and print testing that Cartridge World stores do to make sure your cartridge works.

Dell 926 Printer ink refill instructions

I don't have a Dell but we have Lexmarks which use similar cartridges. I'm guessing your color and black has a flat top. Your printer should be using a 2 cartridge system and most likely w/ 4 colors. Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow. The Black cartridge is a single color cartridge. The CMY (short for Cyan,Magenta,Yellow) is in another cartridge. If you don't know which one, get a paper tower and dab the bottom of the cartridge near the nozzles which are usual silver in color. If you have the color you now need a very thin needle to fit those very small holes. If your needle wont fit then you will have to enlarge the holes. To refill, you really will enlarge it anyway to inject the syringe needles in. Stick the needle into the hole as deep as you can and stop just before you hit bottom. Just approximate the height of the cartridge to the needle. When you take the needle out, use a paper towel or toilet paper to wipe off the ink. What you wipe off will be the color of that chamber. You just need to do one more on any of the 2 remaining holes. Label as you go so you know what color it is. Don't do mental gymnastics. One mistake means you either print w/wrong colors or buy a new cartridge. I'm not familiar w/ the cartridge so I'm guessing on the color you should put between 1-2ml of ink per color. On the black maybe 5-8ml. This is to be on the safe side. Don't overfill it. There's no guarantee your cartridge will print, cuz manual refills are not as good as those done on a machine. If it works you may be able to refill another 2-3 times. Manual refilling is a gamble. Just ink the ink in very slowly and be patient. take about 15-20 seconds to inject 1 ml. Hope this helps.

Dell 926 printer

Dell cartridge are quite expensive, and refilled and non original cartridge are often not accepted by Dell printer. If you use non original cartridge often you keep getting this message unless you replace both cartridges.
Be also careful also if you use refilled, sometimes refilled can leak all over the inside of your Dell printer right when ink is coming to the end.
In your case try replacing both cartriges at the time, this usually clears the error.
A suggestion: Dell small inkjets are sold at a price often inferior to the cartridge set price, and now you know why, ask the price for a new Lexmark, HP, Epson,Brother, Canon etc. next time you have to replace a cartridge set, it may be worth buying a new printer.
Apart small inkjet sector, Dell produces excellent laser printers, computers, laptops and more.

You can read more opinions on small dell inkjets here or using google.
