Keeps coming up with save file can't be found.

I can load onto the card abd the games are there but a message saying the save file can't be accessed comes on and tells me to switch off DS and reinsert card but this doesn't help. Do I need to update the card somehow, I know when my TT card did this i had to reformatt it.

As you have not really gone into specifics, I am going to have to assume that you are using an R4 cartridge to run your games.

When you switch on your DS with an R4 in it, a number should come up in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. This indicates which firmware version you are using. The latest is v1.18 and it can be downloaded from here if you are not already using it....

http://r4ds.cn/download/r4_v1.18_kernel.html

When you have unzipped the file, copy it to your R4 card replacing all the duplicate files.

This should significantly improve your R4's compatibility with newer roms (e.g. Football Director, America's Next Top Model etc) compared to earlier firmware versions.

There will still be a minority of games that don't work (e,g, Worms 2 Open Warfare and The Hulk), but solutions to individual games not working can be found on websites such as http://gbatemp.net in the forum section.

Good luck!

Memory Card Error Messages

Fully Corrupt:
When the entire save area of the Memory Card becomes corrupt, the system will inform the player that the Memory Card is corrupt and offer to format it. The card must be formatted before gameplay begins or when the game attempts to access the Memory Card. The exact message may vary from software to software.

Follow the steps for formatting a memory card.

For specific issues with the Memory Card 1019, please click here.

Suggestion: It is always a good idea to copy your most important files to a second Memory Card as a back-up.
Data Area Only Corrupt:
When only the data area of a Memory Card is corrupt (not the entire Memory Card) the game may not detect this until the Memory Card is accessed. Once it is accessed, the game will inform the player that the file being accessed is corrupt and must be erased. The game will only delete the one file being accessed and will not format the entire Memory Card (Other saved game files on the Memory Card may be OK).

Follow the steps for deleting a file.

For specific issues with the Memory Card 1019, please click here.

Memory Card is Damaged:
If the Memory Card has been physically damaged, or has been damaged beyond repair, you will get this message. The Memory Card will need to be replaced. The system may attempt to format the card, but if it cannot it will give the error Memory Card is Damaged. There is no way to recover the game data from the memory card.

How to load software for nokia 3230

hi the easiest way to install software onto your mobile is by using blue tooth. there are different file extensions that nokia now use the most common are .sis, .sos, and .jar, the extension .jar is the most common used for games, now for just an example say you want to install a game onto your 3230 you would first download the game you want (a good site for free mobile games and apps is gallery.mobile9.com ) {remember when you download the game to make sure you add .jar at the end of the game you are saving, this will allow you to put them on your phone} now that yoiu have downloaded your game, send them to your phone via blue tooth now go to messengers and open the file, now it should ask you if you would like to install the game select install, it will come up now with a message asking if you trust the program you are installing select yes, now choose where you would like it to be saved either on your memory card or to phone memory, now it should install, now the game should be able to be played. hope this helps you.

Problem with ds game card

The game card is full, write protected , or defective.

Save the data onto a new memory card.

If you can still load games from this card make a backup of all savings onto a new card.

Try to make some space on the card by deleting files first.

R4 card the save data could not be accessed .

[DS] Cannot access save data fix. Some cards like the R4 and a few other cards have trouble running certain games,
With the exception of one game "Star Wars Jedi Alliance" All games can be fixed to work on these lower qaulity cards.

So why is it broken?
Basicly at some point during development nintendo changed the way save files are handled, saves are handled by a file inside all ds roms called "arm7.bin", older cards such as the R4 and others have no way of reading or using this updated arm7, so the solution is to swap the newer arm7 with an older arm7 taken from a working game.

This is refered to as an arm7 patch, swap or fix.

So how do i fix it?
First of all just try update your cards firmware. Firmwares for all cards

If that doesnt work there are a few programs out there that you can use to arm7 swap, DSlazy and DSbuff.
DSbuff being a more up to date program.

DSbuff v.1 Final link: DSbuff

Extract with 7zip, winrar or winzip: 7 Zip

Pre extracted arm7.bin from Contra 4: arm7.bin
If you download the arm7.bin put it in the folder you create in step one then you can skip step 2 completly.

NOTE: If DSbuff doesnt work properly on your computer *for example the program crashes during the arm7 swap follow this guide for DSlazy* DSlazy links and guide

DSBuff Instructions:

Step one: Set-Up
Create a folder on your desktop and name it the game you want to fix.
Extract DSbuff anywhere and start it.

Step two: Unpacking
Run DSbuff.exe and click browse dsbuffbrowse.png now choose a game you have that works.
Click unpack dsbuffunpack.png then browse dsbuffbrowse.png in the new drop down section.
Choose the folder you created on your desktop
Click "Unpack Checked" and make it so only Arm7 has a tick.
Now click dsbuffunpack2.png

Step three: arm7 swap.
Click the Drive:\ directory up the top or just restart DSbuff and click browse, now select the game your trying to fix.
Click on arm7 dsbuffarm7swap.png then browse dsbuffbrowse.png and choose arm7.bin from your folder you created. Now click dsbuffarm7swaptick.png
Watch the green line to see when its done, it will unpack, then repack then when its finished give you the option of what to name the file.

Congratulations your finished, enjoy your game.

Prob loading free ds games off pc.

When you say, "Keeps Loading Up..." what do you mean?

If it boots as if they were no N5 card, then I would suggest the N5 card or Micro SD card isn't seated properly and making contact with all the game slot contacts.
