Hi, i have a Samsung 920nw. Its problem is a persistent red halo on the screen. When I turn on the monitor, it looks green. Clicking on "Auto" button, it show all red. Replace the video cable or hdmi,depending on which you may be using. Some of the small wires in that cable may have snapped. Another suggestion is to take it into a repair shop that gives free examinations or diagnosis, because one of the small leads going from the screen to circuit boards lining the display, may have broke, unfortunatelly this may lead to you having to buy a new display. Most of the time it can not be reconnected due to many wires in the same ribbon are to close. You may also have to purchase a new screen from the factory.

There's an internal hardware electronic part/s of your samsung syncmaster 930 that is cold soldered / defective. I suggest to bring the unit to an authorized service center to fix the problem. regards

hello i have the same problem, there are 4 lamps (bulbs) inside the monitor when some of them falls the system turn off, cheks and good look

If you see an image(same as without backlite) then the problem is back lite. An expert LCD technician can fix the lamps( By minor soldering on edges of CFL lamps).or replace the panel .covered under warranty.

If you are saying that it powers off in a few seconds you most probably have a bad (internal) power supply.
