After 2 ½ weeks storage, my RC3000 will not charge

I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your DC34 handheld vacuum. It's unusual to hear you're having issues with the machine not running, but if you purchased it three weeks ago it should be well within our 2-year cordless warranty.

Lift Roomba off the floor and place it in the center of the room and restart the clean cycle.

If Roomba did not resume cleaning, lift Roomba and turn it over.* Inspect the Side Wheels for dirt or obstructions.

Test the Side Wheels by pushing them in and out and making sure they rotate freely. Place Roomba in the center of the room and restart the clean cycle

YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN TO GIVE DETAILS LIKE MAKE, MODEL ETC. TRY REPLACING THE COLLECTION BAG WITH A NEW ONE, ALSO SEE IF THE LOCKING IS FULLY IN PLACE. IF THERE IS A INTENSITY CONTROL PLACE IT TO THE HIGHEST LEVEL.

Your new rainbow is still under warranty I believe so explain it to the company and ask for another. I too had a rainbow however I am like your friend in which mine worked very well. The noise is coming from the motor housing or the motor itself. Good Luck

Check your ductwork. It could be that they need to be cleaned. Also look for lady bugs because they clearly smell like dust. J.

It may need a longer charging period to bring the battery up to full charge. If you have a voltmeter, measure the battery voltage while it is being charged--it should read several volts above the rated battery voltage. If nearly equal, the charge unit may need repair or replacement. Good luck!

there was a techinal update on this machine a few months ago, the oil may be leaking from the swash plate housing

This is a diagnostic serial port for the tech guys that work on them.
