The freezer (bottom) is working fine. The fridge (top) is not cooling. Why is this? The unit is about 18 months old.
Check fan for operation and vent duct for ice or the damper sticking between the two compartments. It does not take much when the freezer is on bottom, colder air (because heavier) remains there without proper circulation. I will be trying to find the maintenance /service manual to help resolve this. JT

I have the same problem. Top will only cool to about 45 deg. on max setting. Cleared ice from freezer wall, forced a defrost cycle and still will not cool. Fan is working and no blockage in duct, damper is fully open.
Did the same about 12 months ago but running one forced defrost cycle seemed to cure it. I have the guide to run the service tests if anyone needs it.
