It may be because that you have not installed the driver for your MP3 player, if you have then it may be that your MP3 player is in the wrong mode to connect to the computer. This can be changed in the settings or system menu on your player. If nonw of these work it is also possible that you have a bad cable but that is un-likely.

Hope everything works,

Is there a way to play this DVD on a computer monitor?

MP3 players connects to a computer using an USB cable.
When connected the computer will see the MP3 player as an external storage device.
This allows you to copy files from the computer to the MP3 player and it will also allow the computer to read files off the MP3 player. Therefore you can select and play video files from the MP3 player on your computer monitor.

This divise canot connect to pc it is only in charging mode

at my experience the mp3 player if connect to computer will at charging mode and at windows explorer will detect as removable disk like pen drive

at this state you can copy/paste file from computer to mp3 player or from mp3 player to computer
if your computer did not detect mp3 player as removable disk it mean your need to install mp3 player driver to your computer first

Cannot connect

Did you run the installation CD before you plugged the mp3 player into the computer? If not, disconnect the mp3 player from computer, uninstall all the Sansa software on your computer, and reinstall the software from the installation CD.

If the uninstall/reinstall fails, update the firmware on the player from Sandisk's website.

Good luck!

Usb port problem

This would indicate to me that your MP3 Player might be bad. Have you tried to connect your MP3 player to another computer to see if it works on that computer?

Good luck.

Can't connect my MP3 to my computer

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
