It fixed it's self, the next day the changer was working normal.the battery is weak and going to be replaced.so maybe the problem was low system voltage." IT'S A JEEP THING " ???

Hi I have put a cd into the changer but now cannot eject the cd, the stereo reads error 99 please advise

The CD, when inserted, became either wedged or not seated properly and the sensors dont know how to respond. Here are the codes for Kenwood.
Changer Error Codes
• E-00: Poor Cable connection.
• E-01: Magazine not properly set in changer.
• E-02: No Disc in magazine.
• E-03: CD does not have selected track number.
• E-04: Disc is dirty, upside down or unreadable.
• E-10: No data is recorded on the MD. The player plays the next disc automatically.
• E-99: Changer malfunction, disc may be caught in machine or changer requires service.

If you have a steady hand... carfully unscrew and open up the unit just far enough so you can either pull, or nudge the CD tray enough for the CD to be seated in the tray properly...
Good luck...

10 disk player inconsitently plays or reports "err" for each disk position. How to fix?

Please remove the cartridge and check all the discs on it ., It is possible that over a period of time the disc could have warped. The disc while loading could be going into the wrong track and hence the mechanism needs a check on the path . Alignment of the loading tracks must be checked or corrected.

03 cherokee lmtd 10 disc cd changer wont play shows error

Simple fault would be your laser has had it & would need a replacement.
Or get a new Audio system altogether.

Every time I push the button to play a CD. I get the Err sign. I do have a 1999 Jeep grand cherokee

Solved this ( I think) - Tried other solutions with no effect.
The removed the ribbon cable from the connection on top of laser. The connection has a white and brown palstic bit. Move the brown bit back to release the cable. Wipe and clean and put back by threading into the brown bit and then pushing it closed. Good luck

DO NOT HAVE NAVIGATION CD FOR MY 2004 JEEP CHEROKEE LIMITED

got mine off ebay for a decent price.  you can also order through the dealership.  if you order a newer one (make sure it is for the jeep) it will make some minor changes (upgrades) to your radio.

Cd will not play and keeps ejecting

source http://www.kenwood.nl/support/veelgestelde_vragen/ Changer Error Codes ? E-00: Poor Cable connection. ? E-01: Magazine not properly set in changer. ? E-02: No Disc in magazine. ? E-03: CD does not have selected track number. ? E-04: Disc is dirty, upside down or unreadable. ? E-10: No data is recorded on the MD. The player plays the next disc automatically. ? E-99: Changer malfunction, disc may be caught in machine or changer requires service. Sounds like the mech is gummed up, jammed, or a cd is stuck inside. Get a nerd to open it up and check it over. Luck
