    All them links have driver scans though' of which I am unable to use' as the computer I am attempting to update is no connected to the internet' so I can no scan the system to find of what drivers it requires'
    Any other links for just to download the drivers from instead of scanning the sytem' greatly appreciated'

    They got a massive database of zip files'
    Just download and install'

    All done'

yes there are seperate versions for 32bit and 64 bit . check on majorgeeks.com for the drivers, also check cnet downloads for drivers. If the mother board is more than 5yrs old you might not find the 32 bit drivers on the manufacturer's website. also check microsoft , if they have any drivers for that motherboard. good luck

Does this have a SATA connection for a SATA HDD
I cant find specs or a good big pic so I can see it, the sata jacks are similar in appearance to usb potrs, on the Motherboard they are usually clumped together (If there's more than one), If it doesn't have them you can get a PCI card with SATA potrs and put that in.

USB2.0 to work
In the CMOS setup, on the Advanced tab, USB Configuration, enable "High-speed USB", according to this page. The instructions there may not be the same as yours, as Gigabyte may be using a different BIOS. On this page is the latest Intel INF Update Utility for your Intel 845 chipset.

It is also possible that your motherboard does not support USB 2.0. The manual I saw was suspiciously quiet about it.
