SOURCE: what does the "F24" message

hello,

simple ,The "F 24 " error code is an indication of a water temperature sensor error. There is a chance that there is a loose wire connection on the water temperature or liquid substance

what you need to do to fix up your oven is to check on the wiring connection from the power supply to the panel indicator (control button ).

thank you and thanks for using fixya.

SOURCE: Oven works properly when baking. When not in use,

Hello,

This means that the oven has detected a condition it needs to check. Press "Cancel" to clear the display and to stop the beeping sound, then try turning the oven off and on again. If you still see the "F24," turn off the power to your oven and wait five minutes before turning it on again. If you hear the beep or see the "F24" when you try to bake or broil again,

These codes mean that the oven's electronic control has detected a condition it needs to check. When you see a code, follow these steps:

  • Press "Stop/Clear" to clear the display and stop the beeping.
  • Reprogram the oven.
  • If the code still displays, turn off the power to the oven at your breaker box and wait five minutes before turning it back on.
Good luck.

Thanks and thanks for using fixya.

SOURCE: F24 shows on readout and oven shuts off

The F24 fault code is caused by a closed/stuck/shorted contact on the control panel for more than 60 seconds, such has someone leaning against the controls or objects hanging in front of the controls.

Solution: Touch OVEN OFF, or turn power OFF at the circuit breakers, wait 3 minutes and then turn it back on. If the condition persists the touchpad/control panel will likely need to be replaced. Turn the power off in order to stop the beeping.

SOURCE: Thermador Model C302 Convection Oven

Hi alatfios,

This error F24 and the beeping sound is unfortunately because of a bad touchpad. The error code F24 means that the key has been stuck for longer than 120 seconds. The beeping sound that you are getting means hte button is opening and closing. Heat will cause buttons to stick sometimes. When you warm your oven up it expands the buttons and makes it so a button is being held down so you can't push any more to turn it back on. The touchpad is the glass assembly on the front. You can purchase it online and that is the only part you need. Kindly click here to purchase.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for using Fixya.

Thermador double wall oven C302ZS Error code F24

F24 error code is key stuck error as the service manual of your product says (THERMADOR C302 SERVICE MANUAL Pdf Download ' ManualsLib) By replacing the faulty key or whole key board will revive the machine. As the model is discontinued/obsolete, a good service person can find alternatives to make it in working order.

I'm getting a f24 code on my lower wall oven...what to do?

Hi. Error code F24 indicates that the controller has failed to communicate with the lower convection fan and oven lights control board. If the error code persists, I would recommend connecting with an expert repair tech to assist further and the display board may need replacing.

F24 code

In some cases I have had to replace both the touch pad and power relay board. Expensive! HOWEVER, I have, on occasion, found the wide ribbon from the touch pad to the relay board to be at fault. I have not found replacements for these as of yet. I have been able to "open" the ribbon to clean the contacts within and reassemble it to find everything working. Needless to say, my clients have been extremely happy with my ability to do so, saving them thousands if having to replace the entire unit.
I found the bad connection when the lighting was dim and I saw a "flash" at the point ribbon it inserted in the end piece. Hope this helps.

I have a c302zs with f24 code i changed glass touch problem came back ???????? now what if you can also tell me the part #i have 3 ongoing just like this.my cust. not happy thanx ALL MAKE APPLIANCE

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa.
F24 error is caused when it is a bad touchpad. Heat will cause these buttons to stick sometimes. F24 means a key has been stuck for longer than 120 seconds. The random beeps means a button is opening and closing. When you warm your oven up it expands the buttons and makes it so a button is being held down so you can't push any more to turn it back on. The touchpad is the glass assembly on the front, and I think you’ll have to carry out the repair again and replace it with a new one as the old one might have been faulty. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

I have a Thermadore double wall oven, M# C302ZS. The oven is reading F24. I put in a new whole front touch pad, and it's still reading F24. What can be my problem??

Hello,

I've copy and pasted an exert from this ovens service manual. try this and let me know of the results.

Good Luck

F-24 or F-25 This is caused by close contact to the control panel for more than 60 seconds,
appears in display window such as someone leaning against the controls or objects hanging in front of
controls.
F followed by 2 digits appears Touch OFF or turn power off at the circuit breaker, wait 3 minutes and turn
in the display window it back on.
