Ive tried serveral times to install my grapich card for my Emachines G640G with windows 7 64Bit ultimate that i upgraded from USB stick, and it worked just perfectly with my Windows vista 64Bit, no cd was with in my purchase so ive made a little research and found the driver on www.emachines.com under download driver tab, and i found the correctly driver for the 6670M ( Ive tried also 6650M as many would probelly suggest) what do i do to get the driver working corretly, or is there another driver i need to downlaod because of its windows 7 instead of windows vista ?
Open Device Manager, Uninstall the Graphic Card and driver, reboot the machine, allow Windows 7 to apply the generic driver, Open Windows Updates and run. OR, open Device Manager, display adapter, update Graphics adapter. OR, Use the eMachine windows vista 64 bit drivers. Download the Windows Vista 64bit driver and Save , open Properties, change compatibility to Windows 7. You must find "eMachine" XP USB drivers for your computer.
If all USB support is "enabled" in BIOS, the conflict is with drivers.
XP is loaded with many generic drivers, however eMachines is proprietary and requires eMachine drivers for most on-board hardware.
Contact eMachines support to locate the drivers (if available).

You should be able to use the Realtek AC97 codecs for your machine. You have a choice of standard AC97 (probably the one you're looking for) and the AC97 HD (also available from the same link). One of them will work with your PC.
Post your results of if you need additional assistance.

I'd suggest deleting the existing video driver and then reinstall.
