Yes, you can. However, you want to make sure you get a well-made laminate floor. Many laminates are not waterproof and putting them in areas of the house that can get water on teh floor may not be the best idea. You might want to switch to luxury vinyl plank flooring. This product looks like laminate and is more durable. you might also consider luxury vinyl tiles. We have a niche free forum site that goes into great detail on this topic. you can find it here: Best Flooring Forum ' BEST RUG PRICES

Laminate flooring in the bathroom due to the worry of water damage. I would recommend staying away from it in the bathroom. As moisture gets under the planks, they will begin to expand and pop up.

Laminated floors can be used in any room you would like although there are some laminated floors that are more sensitive to moisture. If you want to use laminated floor in your bathroom you will need to prevent water from core material of the floor.

Brand new house. I put laminated vinyle in the basment . Do i have to put my bathroom sink (cabinet) over the floor or put the sink firt right on the concrete floor and go aroud with the laminated

It is always recommended that you install flooring under all devices. This is so that if you ever decide to update the sink base that you won't have issues with the flooring not covering entirely. But there is no NEED to do so.

Does the bamboo flooring installation process differ from laminate flooring installations?

Bamboo flooring comes in three styles, solid, engineered, and click lock. The click lock and engineered are virtually designed just like laminate flooring, the only difference is the installation. Engineered has to be either nailed, stapled or glued down (depending on the subfloor, whether it is concrete or wood). The click lock is a floating floor and is installed the exact same as laminate flooring. Whether its on wood, or concrete it doesn't get nailed or glued at all.
